Product Specification
This device can expand wifi signal from the living room to the study room, kitchen, washroom, balcony and so on and make wifi coverage all the corner. This guide will introduce the internal and external antenna type COMFAST brand product to you. Pls realize it and refer to it based on the product type which you buy.
1.1 Internal Antenna Product Diagram
① Purple means the device is not connected. Blue means the device is connected with router and the signal is good. Orange means the device is connected with router and signal is not weak.
② Attention: Power on the device and use the needle to insert the RESET hole for 5-10 seconds and loose it. The device will restore to factory settings.
1.2 External Antenna Product Diagram
① Press on this button for 5-10 seconds and loose it. The device will restore to factory settings.
② Attention: Only external antenna type one has dual band switch. The internal antenna type one doesn’t has dual band switch.
③ Purple means the device is not connected. Blue means the device is connected with router and the signal is good. Orange means the device is connected with router and signal is not weak.
2.WIFI Signal Expanding(Repeater)theory description
The coverage of wifi router in the market usually can not meet the family need. And the walls in the house greatly reduce the router WIFI’s coverage. So we need a wireless range extender to extend the signal from the router.
Attention: As it shown, if your router effective coverage is in A place, you can expand the signal to B place with using COMFAST brand repeater in A place.
3.Software Settings
3.1 Use mobile to connect wifi signal “COMFASTXXXXXX”; Open the browser and enter 192.168.10.1, then get into the login page. Choose defaulted language “English” and input defaulted password “admin”, and then click “login” to get into the setting page.
3 .2 After login, the device will automatically scan the wireless signal which is available.
